The Lost One

A birthday gift for a friend. I figured she liked Roxas since she has a large size figure of him sitting on her book shelf. Things I like about it: facial expression, line work, shading. Things I dislike: stiffness in pose, the water environment, his HANDS!!! When will I learn to make them look natural. It's so frustrating.

Anyway, a note on the title. You spend the first...what three hours or so of Kingdom Hearts II being Roxas (who I found significantly less annoying than Sora) and then he gets dumped by the wayside for the rest of the game. I mean sure Axel desperately wants him back, so the thought of him is always there, but he doesn't get any of the freaking action or nothin'. He doesn't get to fight an army of a thousand heartless and nobodies (ie. the easiest "battle" in the game.) And the image of floating through water is a very famous one where Kingdom Hearts is concerned so I thought Roxas should have his turn drowning. Wait...am I being thoughtful or sensitive? Probably not.
